Mediadrop does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. No account or registration is required to use the app.
When you enter a video URL, the app fetches publicly available video data from the respective platform API. This process does not involve storing your URL or any identifying information on our servers.
Download history is stored locally on your device only, using your device's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Mediadrop uses the TikWM API (tikwm.com) for TikTok video processing. Please review their privacy policy at tikwm.com for details on how they handle requests.
The app requests the following Android permissions:
• INTERNET — required to fetch video data and download files.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — required to save downloaded videos to your device.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — required to access saved videos for sharing.
Mediadrop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
